Dear Sharon

Unfortunately I am not offering to take over, because I realize what a huge responsibility this would be, nor do I have the necessary skills.. However, my understanding was that Walt regarded you as his understudy, in a manner of speaking, and tried to teach you as much as he could about the running of USSW because he knew he would not be with us for too much longer. We all know Walt is a hard act to follow, but nobody expects you to be him...we each have our own strengths and weaknesses and we can only do our best and I am sure you are doing the best of your best!

Is there any way you could form a committee within your area to share some of the responsibility and the work load?? It would be a tragedy if USSW could not continue, and all Walt's efforts to build this great communication, support, and exchange of information, network, was for nothing! Please try to keep it up and running. It is needed now, more than ever.

Best wishes

This is going out to all on USSW's e-mail lists,

In the four mo.s since Walt's death I've worked night and day to learn the skills it took to do the job he did with our home page and the only thing I have managed to do is become even more ill. I've learned a great deal about me the person, and one of the things I've learned is, this is an arena I don't do well in.This is not easy for me, my love for USSW is giving me the strength needed. I"am offering USSW to anyone I feel I can trust to carry on for "all" and has the skills to care for USSW the way it should be cared for. I hope to hear from many, I will work with you and do what ever I can to help you get started. If this dose not work out, I will be forced to shut down USSW. PLEASE, only contact me with your request to go foreword with USSW. I'am not well and can't handle mass amounts of e-mail.

Sincerely,Sharon L. Bige USSW,Inc.
