I have just finished reading the article that was published June 1999, I have since my mastectomy and implant reconstruction had 17 operations. This is not a figment of my imagination nor is the illnesses I have either it is really a shame that no one has the guts to use actual implanted women in there studies, so to make a claim that implants do not cause disease is absolutely criminal. It is absolutely impossible for anyone to find any links to these accusations if everyone continually insists on making there reports based on data from the manufactures and plastic surgeons, if this isn't biased what is? Dow's own documents support what we are experiencing and saying! How can anyone with a coscience have any part in this ludicrous behavior. I dare any of these people to use me for a study or any implanted woman who's been implanted for a couple of years they won't do it. It's like the tobacco industry studying some ones who's only smoked for one month for lung cancer, of course nothing would show up, it would then be favourable to them this is how any Dow funded or any manufactured funded study has been done. I am now only 39 and since I was 28 and had this done my life has been hell so these biased studies mean nothing, just look at me is all I have to say and that answers anything regarding how unsafe breast implants are unless of course It's normal for a 28 year old who was healthy before to end up so sick. Because articles like this come out it only shows me that a lot of people are going out of there way to lie and falsify studies because someone is worried about the truth coming out so a million of these wouldn't affect someone with an ounce of common sense, because most normal people can see through these lies.
