Dow Chemical agreed to conduct annual chest x-rays of workers exposed to the silica as they knew that, under certain conditions, exposure "will cause significant change in the lungs". Fibrosis of the lungs is caused from silica. Doctor Ira Lewy obtained the above information from the Seminars in Arthritis and Rheumatism, dated August 1994. He has many silicone and saline implant patients that are very ill, and gave The Implant Awareness Society his permission to write this. Doctor Lewy personally told me about this information in 1995 and how this valuable information is found in all medical libraries. This information is available to all doctors. Those who have implanted women would easier understand the women's medical problems if they have read Seminars in Arthritis and Rheumatism: A Symposium on Silicone-Related Disorders. Every implanted women would be wise to acquire her own copy. Ask your doctor to obtain one for his/her records. Have your doctor photocopy these pages for himself. You keep the original for yourself just in case you change doctors.
